Coffee Boy

An early Chicago job was working as a receptionist at a downtown Medicare office. I was in charge of the coffee. This, my only officially finished 10-minute play, was inspired by and originally written at this job.

In 2005, it was produced as part of Heartlande Studio Theatre’s Play by Play festival at The Performance Network in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

In 2010, it was adapted into a short film by my friend Erwan Ripoll.

Read the play; watch the film!
